Magnesium chloride is an inorganic ionic compound with the chemical formula MgCl₂ (anhydrous) / MgCl₂·6H₂O (hexahydrate), appearing as white crystalline powder, flake, granule or colorless transparent liquid, with slight hygroscopy and easy solubility in water and ethanol (dissolution is slightly endothermic). Classified into industrial grade and food grade according to application standards, with controllable main content and low impurity content, it features stable chemical properties and easy storage and transportation (sealed against moisture). The product has diverse specifications and customizable concentrations, widely used in chemical industry, construction, food processing, aquaculture and other fields, and is a versatile basic chemical raw material with excellent performance and high cost-effectiveness.

Industrial Grade (Anhydrous/Hexahydrate/Liquid)

1.      Building & Refractory Materials: Core raw material for magnesite board, magnesium cement, and fireproof panels; used in refractory binders for steel smelting, furnace linings, and high-temperature industrial equipment.

2.      Chemical Industry: Raw material for producing magnesium metal, magnesium oxide, and other magnesium compounds; electrolyte for magnesium electrolysis; water treatment flocculant and antifouling agent for industrial circulating water.

3.      Road & Snow Melting: Anti-icing and snow-melting agent for roads, airports, and bridges (blended with calcium chloride for better effect); dust suppression agent for mining and construction sites.

4.      Textile & Dyeing: Size modifier for textile fibers; auxiliary agent for printing and dyeing to improve color fastness and fabric texture.

5.      Metal Processing: Rust remover and surface treatment agent for metal parts; flux for welding and casting to reduce melting point and improve weld quality.
